Lenovo launches new 6.98-Inch Lenovo Phab tablet at Rs. 11,999

After launching Lenovo Phab Plus smartphone in India in October last year, the Chinese multinational tech firm has today launched the lite variant called Lenovo Phab for Rs. 11,999.
Following the bandwagon of companies like Xiaomi and Motorola, Lenovo has launched this new smartphone-tablet hybrid as Flipkart exclusive product. This means Lenovo Phab is exclusively available on Flipkart only.

At the tech front the key features/specifications of Lenovo Phab are as follows:

1. Lenovo Phab runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop.

2. It features humongous 6.98-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS display.

3. 13 MP Primary Camera with flash.

4. 5 MP Front shooter.

5. Under the hood, it's having 64-bit 1.2 GHz Quad Core Snapdragon 410.

6. Lenovo Phab comes with 16 GB inbuilt memory which is expandable up to 64 gigs.

7. 2 GB RAM powers the core.

The new smartphone is dual SIM (Micro SIM + Micro SIM) enabled and supports 4G LTE Indian network standards. Lenovo launched this phablet with a bigger battery of 4250mAH which promises to deliver up to 24 hours of talk time and up to 20 days of standby time. Sticking to its trend Lenovo has again added Dolby Atmos audio technology in this phablet as well.

As of now the smartphone is available only in Ebony Black colour variant and may be Lenovo might give more colour options of Polar White, Aqua Blue and Cherry Red Colours which are available internationally.

According to Lenovo's official Twitter handle, you need to register for the first Phab sale which will happen on April 21, 2016 at 12 noon. Registrations are open from April 10, 12:00 AM till April 21, 11:00 AM

  1. The phone looks good though, considering its price tag. But it won't last long in the market, if we look at the previous phones of Lenovo, specially K3 Note, that too at a much less price. Here, they're offering Quad Core at 1.2Ghz clock, whereas performance wise, K3 offers Octa Core at 1.7 GHz. So, probably only those will go for it for whom "Size Matters!" :D
